Work Experience

Visagio Australia

Data Science/Technical Consultant Internship at Visagio Australia (October 2022 - Present)

During my internship I focus on technical projects related to data analytics and simulation modeling. I worked as the lead script and workflow developer for a year-long project within the Business Research and Analytics team of a major national rail transport provider. I developed integrated Python and SQL workflows to identify and quantify opportunities for safety improvements. The project deliverables included dynamic Tableau and PowerBI reports for internal customers.

I also worked within a Tier 1 mining company to create interactive animations in AnyLogic that visualised a discrete-event simulation forecasting production in seven mine-to-port value chains. In addition, I produced input data and distributions based on historical production data for discrete-event simulation.
